We left P.J. Hoffmaster State Park this morning and drove to the Grand Rapids suburb of Byron Center.  We got a site at a Passport America RV Park.  This quiet RV park is a relief after the crowded smoky state park.  We need to do some laundry tomorrow.  After unhooking we drove into Grand Rapids and went to the Gerald R. Ford Museum.  I really enjoyed this museum -- I was only 18 when he was sworn in as President because of Richard Nixon’s resignation.

We then drove to Hop Cat Brewing and had a beer and then to Founders Brewery and had a beer and then to Brewery Vivant and had a Belgian style beer.  I want to go back to Founders and have their Spite beer.  It was a really spicy pepper beer using three types of peppers.  We found one geocache today in the valet drive of the Amway Hotel in Grand Rapids.  The valets told us we were looking in the correct spot.  We looked some more and finally found it.  I fixed enchiladas and Spanish rice for supper and we watched the Olympics.
