We took showers this morning.  For the last three days boondocking at 12 Mile Beach campground we had to take baths out of the bathroom sink in the Casita.  We drove to Paradise and then up to Whitefish Point.  At Whitefish Point there is the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum and Whitefish Point Light Station.  We toured the light keeper’s house and part of the old Coast Guard Station.  The museum had artifacts and information about some of the shipwrecks just off Whitefish Point.  There was a movie about the Edmond Fitzgerald.  Jim climbed up to the top of the lighthouse.  At the little café Jim bought us some chicken pasties for lunch.

We stopped on the way back at a store and got some milk and beer, then went to the post office to get more postcard stamps.  We found one geocache on the way back to camp.  After returning to the Casita we sat outside and played Phase 10.  Elton and Allen took mom to the doctor today and I went to the state park entry station to connect to cell service.  Mom has a small sore on her ankle that won’t heal.  She will have to see a circulatory doctor for a test.  They think the bottom part of her right leg has poor circulation and the antibiotic she is taking is not getting down to that part of her leg like it should.  I cooked dinner and then Jim made a call using the OnStar phone in the Silverado.  We sat at the picnic table and got the blog ready to update tomorrow.
